Account & Data Deletion

Your Data, Your Control: If you created an optional cloud account in Daily Nectar via Google Sign-In or email authentication, you have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated cloud sync records. Below are the steps for deleting your account directly inside the app or submitting an external deletion request.

Method 1: In-App Immediate Deletion (Recommended)

The fastest and most direct way to delete your cloud account is directly inside the Daily Nectar Android application:

Open Settings & Profile

Launch Daily Nectar, tap the Settings icon on the top right of the dashboard, and select your Devotee Profile card at the top.

Initiate Deletion

Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen and tap the red Delete Account & Remove Cloud Data button.

Confirm Deletion

A confirmation modal titled "Delete Cloud Account" will appear. Tap Delete Account to confirm. Your session is revoked, local authentication credentials are cleared via CredentialManager, and the app safely returns to Guest mode.

Method 2: Web & Email Deletion Request (Without the App)

If you have uninstalled Daily Nectar or cannot access your Android device, you can submit a manual deletion request:

How Web Deletion Works: Submitting this request initiates a verified manual deletion process. The developer verifies ownership and deletes your cloud synchronization records from our servers without undue delay.

Direct Email Option: You can also email us directly at hello@notjustadesigner.me from your registered email account with the subject line Daily Nectar Account Deletion Request.

Data Deletion & Retention Breakdown

What happens to each category of data upon account deletion:

Verification & Support

To protect devotee privacy and prevent unauthorized account deletions, email requests must originate from the email address registered with the account. You will receive a confirmation once the deletion has been finalized.
